About this district
District 1 & 3 is the English-speaking general service district for the South Bay and Harbor communities of Los Angeles County, from Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Torrance, Gardena, Carson, San Pedro and Wilmington. The former District 3 has been represented together with District 1 since July 2020. The district keeps its own website with officers, committees, guidelines approved in September 2023 and minutes, and refers anyone looking for a meeting to the All South Bay Central Office. Spanish-speaking groups in this area are served by District 21.
History
One of the ten districts the Area started with in 1959. District 3 has met with District 1 since July 2020.
Former district
District 3 (San Pedro, Wilmington, Lomita, Harbor City and the Carson/Dominguez area) has been represented together with District 1 since July 2020. Its groups take part in District 1 & 3.
